Mike has over 20 years experience in the high-tech industry, holding senior leadership positions at BMC, Parasoft, Serena, VMware, Symantec/VERITAS, and HP. Most recently, Mike led a significant portion of BMC Software’s U.S. field organization, responsible for over $100M in revenue. Mike was critical to the transformation of culture and selling velocity after the private equity buyout by Bain Capital. At Parasoft, as SVP of World-Wide Sales, Mike led a global field organization transformation that helped position Parasoft as a leader in service virtualization and development tools. At Serena, Mike successfully led the Americas and was instrumental in driving double-digit growth as the company focused on advancing the business value of IT. At VMware, Mike was Vice President of the Western U.S. He was responsible for half of the U.S field operations pre-IPO. He developed and built out the original sales organization and was a key leader in VMware’s successful IPO, as well as post-IPO growth. As a Senior Director for Symantec/VERITAS, he drove profitable growth before and after the merger. Previously, Mike was Vice President of World-Wide Sales for CoCreate, a HP Subsidiary – and was one of the youngest Vice Presidents at HP. He led a successful employee buyout of CoCreate from HP. Mike has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and prior to his sales career was an engineer and software developer at Hughes Aircraft. On the personal side, Mike has been married for 23 years, has 2 sons in college, and enjoys playing golf.
