FixStream Expands Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) Integration into Oracle Applications

Industry-First AI Analytics Platform to Predict Business Issues Across Hybrid IT Showcased at Oracle World 2018

SAN FRANCISCO, CA/ORACLE OPENWORLD 2018 – October 22, 2018FixStream, a Gold Partner in the Oracle Partner Network (OPN), and a pioneer in solutions for Artificial Intelligence for IT operations (AIOps), today announced expanded support of its AIOps Platform with Oracle applications. With FixStream, companies can now for the first time quickly detect and predict application issues in real-time using advanced end-to-end correlation and visualization using its AI and machine learning solution.

The company will be demonstrating their flagship solution and exhibiting at the annual Oracle OpenWorld Conference this week at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, on October 22–25, 2018.

Modern IT Operations lack real-time, accurate visibility across their hybrid IT environments. FixStream provides IT Operations with one of the industry first multi-layer correlation and predictive analytics across business KPI’s, application and infrastructure entities, automating the discovery and mapping of critical business processes to application process flows, hosts, backend databases and infrastructure entities such as switches, routers and storage arrays.

With these new integrations announced today, FixStream’s AIOps solution will now provide out-of-the-box discovery and correlation with the following Oracle applications:
Oracle RAC Databases – with ASM
Oracle E-Business Suite – with WebLogic JVMs, Concurrent Managers and Workflows
Oracle Communications Products (Oracle Communications ASAP, Oracle Communications Order and Service Management (OSM), and Oracle Communication Unified Inventory Management (UIM))
Oracle Siebel’s CRM
Oracle SOA Fusion Middleware (BAM, BPM, OSB)
Splunk for Alerts and Warnings for Databases and WebLogic
ServiceNow ITSM for Oracle Products

FixStream provides integration with other Oracle products, such as Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle JD Edwards, Oracle Real Applications Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Fusion Middleware. FixStream’s AIOps platform is also available in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace offering added value to Oracle Cloud application customers.

The City of Las Vegas integrated FixStream’s Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) solution into its Oracle ERP system, and according to Michael Sherwood, Director, Information Technology for Las Vegas, it has completely changed the way they see network failures. “The AIOps system tells us immediately where the problem is precisely. Previously, we would know the system was down, but tracking down the exact failure point was like finding a needle in a haystack. The FixStream system visually tells us immediately where and what the problem is. It’s a huge time-saver, enabling us to fix serious problems in minutes or hours, instead of the days it used to take us.”

Please visit us at Oracle OpenWorld this week at the Moscone Center South Exhibition Hall, Booth 4700 to get a demo and learn more.

Joint Solution to Integrate AIOps with ITSM and Accelerate Digital Transformation

SAN JOSE, Calif. and COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.Aug. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — FixStream, a pioneer in solutions for Artificial Intelligence for IT operations (AIOps), and Cherwell Software, a global leader in enterprise service management, today announced a strategic collaboration designed to accelerate digital transformation. The two companies will integrate their technologies to provide customers with a next-generation IT Operations solution leveraging machine learning with workflow automation to help more quickly and accurately find, predict and resolve ITSM (information technology service management) issues.

Modern IT environments are dynamic and IT Operations lack real-time, accurate visibility across their hybrid IT environments. Moreover, modern enterprises are now accelerating their digital business transformation, increasing the complexity of their IT environment while raising their expectations of performance and uptime of critical business applications.

“We are bringing a new approach to IT Operations that combines big data with machine learning to improve and automate key ITSM processes,” said Sameer Padhye, Founder and CEO of FixStream. “Our integration with Cherwell will automate the discovery of entities and their relationships across datacenters and the ingestion of the accurate inventory into Cherwell’s CMDB. This will reduce the complexity of how enterprises identify issues across their IT infrastructure and save millions in revenue by predicting outages in the future.”

FixStream will demonstrate the new joint solution at the Cherwell Global Conference in Colorado Springs, CO on September 18-20, 2018. The joint solution will integrate FixStream’s AIOps solution with Cherwell’s workflow automation software – the Cherwell® Service Management platform – and quickly detect patterns to predict and prevent future business outages across an enterprise’s entire hybrid IT stack.

FixStream first creates an accurate and real-time inventory of the physical, logical and virtual entity across the IT stack via an agent-less auto-discovery process. It then automatically updates Cherwell’s Configuration Management Databases (CMDB), correlates business transactions with applications and infrastructure, visualizing operational issues in the context of the business applications, and then applying machine learning to detect patterns and predict outages so that they can be fixed before they occur. IT staff can now identify and visualize in seconds the sequence of correlated events across datacenters as well as automate the root cause analysis of critical business processes, increasing CMDB accuracy.

“Facilitating IT Operations has always been at the core of our business and we are seeing massive opportunity with the rise of AI technology in the space that is likely to continue to spread across the enterprise,” said Matthew Peeples, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. “We are excited to work with FixStream to help our customers leverage machine learning and automation to further drive productivity increases.”

FixStream Launches Industry’s First Visual Artificial Intelligence Platform To Predict Business Application Issues Across Hybrid IT

AIOps Platform Combines Auto-Discovery, Correlation and Visualization with Machine Learning to Predict Failure Points Across Hybrid IT Stacks

SAN JOSE, CA —May 15, 2018 FixStream, a pioneer in solutions for Artificial Intelligence for IT operations (AIOps), today introduced an advanced version of its product, the industry’s first AIOps platform to quickly predict business application issues across an enterprise’s entire hybrid IT stack. With new Machine Learning (ML) algorithms, advanced multi-layer correlation from business transactions to application services and infrastructure, FixStream can now rapidly identify issues that can significantly impact business in minutes instead of hours.  The new FixStream AIOps platform can quickly detect patterns to predict and prevent future business outages, modernizing IT operations management while increasing revenues, customer satisfaction, and business agility.

With the rapid pace of digital transformation and the need for on-demand access 24/7, companies rely on their applications to do business more than ever before.  When an application goes down even for just a few minutes, IT can take days or weeks to resolve issues, costing millions of dollars in revenue. It is very challenging for IT teams to pinpoint and resolve these issues due to the increasing growth of real-time business transactions, and the complex nature of today’s dynamic hybrid and software-defined technologies. Today’s domain-centric tools and technologies make routine IT operations cumbersome and time-consuming, putting companies’ business at risk.

“We are modernizing IT, giving it a seat at the executive table,” said Sameer Padhye, Founder and CEO of FixStream. “FixStream’s multi-layer correlation, visualization and machine learning capabilities across business KPI’s, applications and infrastructure is a gamechanger, reducing the complexity of how enterprises identify issues across their IT infrastructure and saving millions in revenue by predicting outages in the future.”

New Machine Learning (ML) Capabilities to Detect Patterns and Prevent Business Outages
FixStream applies a proprietary machine learning algorithm to contextually correlated data to automatically discover patterns, so IT operations can predict and visualize future outages. As a result of deep learning insights, IT teams can significantly reduce troubleshooting efforts from weeks, months, or days down to minutes. New ML capabilities include:

  • Dynamic Thresholding and Multivariate Anomaly Detection – IT staff can now identify a sequence or group of anomaly events for transactions, applications and infrastructure entities that may impact a business application (i.e.-unplanned events such as DDOS attack or better plan for Black Friday)
  • Sequential Pattern Analysis for Incident Prediction – IT staff can now identify and visualize in seconds the sequence of correlated events that have impacted a specific application or business process and identify patterns with probabilities to predict future incidents (i.e.- predict eCommerce transactions such as ordering new service or paying bills will stop working after one hour due to a detected alert to prevent the incident from happening).
  • Disk/Network Bandwidth Predictive Analytics – IT teams can now analyze historical trends around the utilization of an infrastructure resource and predict when the infrastructure entity will run out of capacity. Now IT operations can proactively plan to add more capacity before an event negatively impacts the business.

“FixStream’s end-to-end view across all domains – business-critical applications and infrastructure – and its ability to accelerate IT problems resolution is unlike any operations platform I have seen before, capable of reducing MTTR by four times,” said Mike Fischer, CDO at Hertz and former SVP, Global IT Operations at First Advantage. “As networks get more dynamic, finding out why outages are happening is more challenging for IT executives. The FixStream AIOps platform will give them unprecedented insights into their companies’ mission-critical business processes to rapidly identify issues and predict outages, saving crucial time and allowing them to solve problems faster.”

“FixStream’s approach to infrastructure management is unique in that it addresses the user experience holistically – from the application to the infrastructure that supports it,” said Mike Jude, Research Manager, Big Data Analytics, Stratecast, Frost & Sullivan. “The application of AI technologies to preemptively address user impacting issues before the user sees them is innovative, and combining such capabilities with an end-to-end management approach means that FixStream is likely to predict more faults before they can occur than other infrastructure management tools.”

FixStream Selected as a 2017 Red Herring Top 100 Global Company

FixStream Selected as a 2017 Red Herring Top 100 Global Company

FixStream Artificial Intelligence platform recognized for its unique ability to automate IT Operations

San Jose, CA (November 28, 2017) – FixStream, a leading Artificial Intelligence platform for IT Operations (AIOps), has been selected as a winner of Red Herring’s Top 100 Global Award, solidifying its place as one of the globe’s most exciting and innovative private technology companies. This recognition builds upon the Red Herring Top 100 North America award FixStream received in June 2017.

“Global IT infrastructure demands a high level of reliability and an opportunity to assess risks and evaluate situations in real time,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and chairman of Red Herring. “Most business-critical applications depend on management’s avoidance of disruption. FixStream has created a patented technology endorsed by significant industry players across the world. The company has advanced faster than most observers expected and is one of the shining lights of the Red Herring Global 2017. This award recognizes the work performed by a team of veterans for a company whose name will become a household name in the future.”

Inclusion on Red Herring’s Top 100 Global list has become a mark of distinction for disruptive companies and entrepreneurs. Red Herring editors were among the first to recognize that companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, Skype, Salesforce.com, YouTube, and eBay would change the way we live and work.

Winning companies were chosen by the Red Herring editorial staff using both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, management quality, strategy, and market penetration.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by Red Herring as one of the 100 most innovative and promising private companies in the world,” said Sameer Padhye, founder and CEO of FixStream. “FixStream provides the only out-of-the-box AIOps platform that delivers an end-to-end view of business transaction flows correlated with applications and infrastructure in hybrid IT environments.”

FixStream solves one of the biggest problems facing enterprises in this new age of digital transformation – the ability to guarantee the highest level of business application assurance while migrating to hybrid cloud.

Traditional domain-centric approaches to monitoring and IT operations management are now obsolete as IT has become more virtual, dynamic and distributed. The adoption of virtualization, hybrid cloud and microservices technologies makes IT more agile, but it also dramatically increases the amount of data to be correlated, exceeding the capacity of human beings to process it.

“Modern IT architectures require millions of data points to be correlated in real time to effectively monitor and manage business critical applications,” added Padhye. “FixStream’s AIOps platform correlates, visualizes, and analyzes millions of data points per business transaction in real-time across an entire hybrid IT environment, allowing enterprises to achieve the highest business application uptime and save millions of dollars.”

This latest recognition is just one of many awards FixStream has received in 2017. Others include the Gartner “Cool Vendor” award and the Advanced IT Analytics Leader award from Enterprise Management Associates.

FixStream Unveils Industry-first AIOps Platform for Oracle ERP

Out-of-the-box discovery and correlation of Oracle ERP business processes and transactions with infrastructure

Preserves speed of digital transformation and breaks down the barriers of communication between IT and business operations.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (October 2, 2017) –FixStream, an award-winning Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) vendor, announced today the commercial availability of its solution for Oracle ERP, an industry first.

“The business is accelerating so quickly that IT organizations need to reinvent how to manage and operate their business-critical processes, or risk having their competition leave them behind,” said Mike Jude, research analyst, Frost & Sullivan. “FixStream provides an industry-first end-to-end correlation and visualization of Oracle ERP transactions and metrics that is a real game changer, and a critical AIOps platform that I believe IT Operations will kill to have in their networks.”

Enterprises are accelerating their digital transformation and increasing their dependency on critical business processes that run on Oracle ERP. The business impact of an ERP outage or poor performance could be dire – service outages could cost enterprise $72k per minute.*

At the same time, enterprises are rushing to hybrid cloud seeking both business agility and security, increasing its adoption rate 3x in the last year.**

The adoption of new digital processes while migrating to hybrid cloud will require IT and business operations to closely cooperate and to gain a shared visibility into the end-to-end process, from business transactions all the way to the underlying infrastructure.

Today’s domain-centric tools don’t correlate business transactions with application services and infrastructure events, making troubleshooting in a hybrid cloud environment ever more complex.

FixStream, an Oracle Gold Partner, facilitates digital transformation by automating the discovery and mapping of critical Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes to the underlying application process flows, hosts, backend databases and infrastructure entities such as switches, routers and storage arrays.

“EMA named FixStream a leader in Advanced IT Analytics after careful evaluation of its unique capabilities for mapping service interdependencies to business-driven objectives, breaking down the barriers of communication between IT and business operations,” said Dennis Drogseth, vice president, Enterprise Management Associates. “This leadership is exemplified in FixStream’s move to support Oracle ERP Cloud with distinctive capabilities to address business outcomes in context with service performance with native ease and dynamic currency.”

FixStream 6.0 provides out-of-the-box support for Oracle ERP 12.X, Oracle Real Application Clusters, Oracle VM hypervisor and Oracle Fusion Middleware in on-premises, hybrid, public or Oracle ERP cloud deployments.

“FixStream provides a powerful analytics platform that delivers the industry’s first end-to-end view of Oracle ERP transaction flows correlated with applications and infrastructure in hybrid IT environments,” said Bojan Simic, founder and chief analyst, Digital Enterprise Journal. “FixStream can be deployed in few hours thanks to its out-of-the-box discovery of Oracle ERP applications and delivers instant tangible value to business and IT operations.”

FixStream 6.0 can be deployed to proactively address business process issues, such as Order to Cash, in a hybrid environment. In such a scenario, the customer could run an Oracle ERP instance in the Oracle Cloud and interact with enterprise services for tax calculation, authentication and identity service that are hosted on-premises in the customer data center.

For instance, should the number of pending orders increase beyond the expected threshold during a specific period, because of the system failure while doing credit check, FixStream 6.0 can automatically detect that the root cause was a CPU starvation issue in the VMs in the customer premise where the Oracle database is deployed for credit check.

“Oracle ERP Cloud is growing at a very rapid rate, 280 percent just in the last quarter,” said Sameer Padhye, founder and CEO of FixStream. “With FixStream 6.0, the vast Oracle customer base can now run their key business processes in a hybrid cloud environment more efficiently, at lower cost while gaining key operational insights through end-to-end correlated visibility.”

This year FixStream was named a Gartner “Cool Vendor” and a “Leader” by EMA for Advanced IT Analytics and won the Red Herring Top 100 North America award.

FixStream and CenturyLink Accelerate Migration to Hybrid Cloud

CenturyLink accelerates digital transformation methodology via integration with
FixStream – SaaS platform, available on the CenturyLink Marketplace

San Jose, CA (September 1, 2017) –FixStream, an award-winning Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) vendor, announced today that it has inked a distribution agreement with CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL), a global communications and IT services company.

CenturyLink offers network and data systems management, big data analytics, managed security services, hosting, cloud, and IT consulting services to global enterprises, many of which are planning to digitally transform their business and migrate their applications to the cloud.

Adopting a cloud strategy while deploying new applications can be challenging for IT operations teams, since visibility could be an issue given the dynamic and complex nature of their hybrid environments. Specifically, IT operations teams might need to correlate millions of data points before getting to the root cause of service outages, up from tens of thousands typical of legacy environments.

To dramatically accelerate the migration to hybrid cloud and to significantly reduce the cost of operations thereafter, CenturyLink will now make available to its customers FixStream’s big data correlation, visualization and analytics platform.

FixStream’s platform will also be available on the CenturyLink Marketplace. The SaaS version will enable CenturyLink customers to rapidly deploy the FixStream platform by leveraging CenturyLink’s self-service, high performance on-demand platform.

“FixStream provides a powerful analytics platform that delivers an end-to-end view of transaction flows correlated with applications and infrastructure in hybrid IT environments,” said David Shacochis, vice president, Hybrid IT Product Management at CenturyLink. “We are pleased to make FixStream available to our customers through the CenturyLink Marketplace. This year FixStream was named as a Gartner “Cool Vendor” and won the Red Herring Top 100 award.
